Movie Review - The Sheep Detectives

A movie staring talking sheep is usually not the kind of film I watch. But the reviews and word of mouth were all so good I decided to give it a shot.

The Sheep Detectives is a 2026 family mystery movie. It is rated PG and is appropriate for all ages.

My Thoughts

Story: The story was incredibly strong. It was very engaging, entertaining, and well structured. 

Pacing: This movie was nearly two hours long but felt like half an hour, because it was so intriguing and face paced.

Mystery: The mystery was actually fairly complex for a family movie.

Characters: Talking sheep usually aren't my cup of tea, but each was given a great personality. On top of that, they had great chemistry as a group. And the human actors were mostly really good, although the bumbling cop didn't need to be such a tired stereotype.
